2、thomeandabroadshowsthatthefaultcausedbybirdshasbecomeoneofthemainreasonsfortrippingaccidentofpowersystem,seriouslythreateningthesafeoperationofthepowersystem,andtheharmdegreeofwhichissecondonlytolightningandexternaldamage.However,theexistingresearchofbirddamagetotransmissionlin
3、esmainlyfocusonbirdfaultstatisticsanditsrelatedfaultinvestigations,whileresearchofexperimentalstudyofbirddamagemechanismandnumericalanalysisisseldomreported.Therefore,findingoutthecharacteristics,causesandmechanismofbirddamageandaccuratelyclassifyingprotectionscopemayhelppeople
4、deepentheirunderstandingofbirdrelatedoutagesandtakeeffectivecorrespondingmeasures,whichhaveimportantguidingsignificanceforbirddamageprotectionontransmissionline.Streamerflashoveristhemaintypeofbirdrelatedfaults,whichmainlyoccursonthetransmissionlinesof220kVandbelow,whileitisrep
5、ortedthatstreamerflashoveralsohappenedon500kVlinesinrecentyears.Researchofmechanismofstreamerflashoveranditsrelatedinfluencefactorsisseldomreported,besides,themechanismofstreamerflashoverisnotinterpretedclearlyandthereisnoflashoverprotectionscopeofdifferentvoltagelevelsoftransm
6、issionline.Aimingatsolvingtheseproblems,thispapercarriedoutsomerelatedexperiments,firstly,findoutthekeyfactorsaffectingtheflashoverandtheprotectionscopein110kVleveltest,basedonthis,220kVand500Vleveltestsarecarriedout,fromwhichweputforwardlongairgapflashoverformationmechanismand
7、protectionscope.Testsofstreamerflashoverwhenwireiswrappedwithinsulationsheatharecarriedout,resultsshowthatwrappinginsulationsheathwirecaneffectivelyreducethepossibilityofstreamerflashover.Asthesupplementandperfectionofexperimentaldata,thispaperhasalsocarriedonsimulationstudyons
