2、ithinitsmassisconstantlyengulfedinenergy.Thisenergytakesmanyformsacrosstheelectromagneticspectrum.TherearecertainextremelylowfrequenciesthathaveaparticularresonancewithplanetEarthandallofitsinhabitants.ThisenergyoftheEarth,theSchumannResonances(SR),weremathematicallypredictedin1
3、952byphysicistWinfriedOttoSchumann.TheyarethefrequenciesatwhichtheEarthitselfresonates.TheseresonancesareexcitedbyelectricalactivitybetweentheEarth’ssurfaceandtheionosphere,aportionoftheupperatmosphere.Thefundamentalmodeoftheresonancesspansawavelengththatisroughlyequaltothecircu
4、mferenceoftheEarth,andvibratesatafrequencyof7.83Hz.Theresonancesprovideagreatwealthofinformationaboutthecelestialbodiestheyresonatefrom,andinthecaseoftheEarth,theyprovideaprofoundinsightintotheco-evolutionoflifeitselfandtheplanetuponwhichithasstakeditsclaim.Whilenotmuchisknownab
