4、acturingsignificantly.Therefore,numericalsimulationwasaneffectivemethodtostudyfracturepropagationinfrac-turedreservoirs.Tillnow,thenumericalsimulationmethodsmainlyincludedextendedfiniteelementmethod,distinctelementmethodandboundaryelementmethod.Inthispaper,thebasictheory,theadvantagesanddisa
5、dvantages,andtheapplicationsofthesethreemethodsareallstu-died.Bycomparingthesethreemethods,itisfoundthatpropernumericalmethodsareadoptedinconsiderationofdifferentresearchrequirements.Furthermore,thefracturepropagationlawinhydraulicfracturingprocesscanbegraspedandtheactualhydraulicfracturingo
