1、摘要语言不仅是对客观事物的简单陈述，而且还包含了说话人自我印记的体现，这是语言的主观性特征。语言本身不是一个孤立的封闭系统，语言研究也就不可能脱离对人类认知过程的分析。时间是人类语言的基本范畴之一，时体标记则是该范畴的语法化体现。近年来，英语语法体系中进行体及其多义现象倍受关注。本篇学位论文从认知语言学的角度分析了话语主观性在英语进行体多义性中的体现。其主要方法是从视角、情感、认识情态这三方面出发，探讨了言者主观性在英语进行体中的具体表现形式，继而得出了以下三大发现：(1)言者视角的主观性表现在两个层面：一是宏观上句子体态的选择；二是微观上情景类型体态特征

2、的改变，即说话人使用进行体将理想体态特征赋予主观上需要突显的情景，使得本不兼容的状态情景、瞬间情景和有界情景也可以与进行体相结合；(2)言者情感的主观性体现在进行体可以表现言者的委婉礼貌或其它情感态度；(3)言者的认识情态主要表现在幻going+toplace这一单纯的陈述演变成表认识情态的将来时标记begoingto俐结构的过程。本研究表明，言者对英语进行体的多义性发挥了主观能动性作用，因而英语进行体也成为实现说话人主观意图的一种手段。另外，使用进行体所体现的话语主观性具有层次性，其表达方式有显性和隐性之分。总之，言者的主观性是推动英语进行体多义性产生的
