3、orclaybrick..Inthepresentpaper,theresultsofanextensivesetoftestscarriedoutatUniversityofMinhoandincludingthreedifferenttypesofbackunderniaxialtensionwillbepresented.Bothtensilestrengthandfractureenergyarequantified,withrecommendationsfortheadoptionofpracticalvalues.INTRODUCTIONThetensile
