2、gyforECSdesign,weproposetoupgradeanexistingonebybridgingitwithamethodologyusedinotherareasofembeddedsystemsdesign.Wecreatedatransformationbridgebetweenthecontrol-schedulingandthehardware/software(HW/SW)co-designtools.Bydefiningthisbridge,weallowforanautomaticmodeltransformation.Asaresult,w
3、eobtainmoreaccuratetiming-behavioursimulations,consideringnotonlythereal-timesoftware,butalsothehardwarearchitecture’simpactonthecontrolperformance.Weshowanexamplewithdifferentmodel-evaluationresultscomparedtorealimplementationmeasurements,whichclearlydemonstratesthebenefitsofourapproach.©
