1、ThehighsexratioatbirthinChinacausedbythethreeelementsofSincethe20thcentury,sincetheearly80s,China’ssexratioatbirthinmostprovinceshasbeenhigh,butalmosteveryyearsince1990sexratioatbirthishigherthan100.Therefore,mostscholarsbelievethatthephenomenonofChina’srising
2、sexratioatbirthisaseriousdemographicproblems,andsocialissues,thisisnotscare-mongering.ScholarsonthecharacteristicsofChina’ssexratioatbirth,whenanalyzedandsummarized,torisetothereasonsforthehighsexratioatbirthinChinawerealsoanalyzed.Somescholars(GuBaochang,1996
3、;KIHASA*UNFPA)thatinrecentyearsinChinaandsomeAsianpopulationsexratioatbirthappearsimbalances,canbeseenasfourelementstogetherresults.Thesefourfactorsare:①patriarchalculturalenvironment;②thelevelofsocio-economicdevelopment;③paceoffertilitydecline;④populationfocu
4、softhework.SincethesexratioatbirthinChinaisfromthe20thcentury,sincethemid-80shighabnormalphenomenon,itmustbethiseraofChina’ssocial,economic,culturalanddemographicchange-relatedpolicy,itmustbetheperiodof21fertilitypreferences,reproductivebehaviorandreproductive
5、outcomes,relatingtothemanagement,weshouldstart‘people,technologiesandmanagementsystems’threeelementstoanalyzethereasonsforrisingsexratioatbirth.Abnormalitiesinareasofhighsexratioatbirth,firstofall,thereisacertainpreferenceforthesizeofthecrowdofboys.Secondly,th
