2、imageinthisexampleisdonemostlyusingthemanualmethodbutitwillhopefullydemonstratetoyouhowfast,easyandflexiblethesoftwarecanbeforVectorizingarasterimage.GettingStarted;OpeningTheImageWewillbegintheprojectbyloadinginthestartingartwork-imagethatweareplanningtousetoacquirethedesignvectors.

3、1.ClickontheOpenfileoptioninordertochoosetheimagetoloadin.2.BesuretochangetheFilesoftypeoptionintheopendialogboxtodisplay.jpgfiles.3.SelectandloadthefilecalledVWLogo.jpg4.OntheSetModelSizepagechangetheunitstoinchesandadjusttheHeighttobe1”,ClickOKtoaccept.VectorizingTheImageWewillbegi

4、ntheprojectbygettingtheimagereadytoworkwithandthenwewillmoveontomanuallydrawingthevectortofittheimage.1.FromtheModelToolbarusetheReduceColoursoptionandreducethecoloursofthemodelfrom48to2.Thefirstfewvectorsthatwewillfittotheimagearegoingtobethecircularringvectors.Beawarethatthecircles

5、maynotmatchupperfectlywiththerasterimage.Wewillensurethateverythingissymmetricallaterintheprojectsothereisnoneedtoworryifthevectorsarenotexactlyonthebitmap.Theimportantpartisthatthecircleswecreateallsharethesamecommoncentrepoint.1.CreateacirclevectorwiththecirclecentreatX:0.5”XY:0.5”

6、StartoffwithacircleDiametersizeof0.4”andhitthePreviewbutton.2.Intheworkscreenareausetheadjustment-sizingnodetoenlargethesizeofthiscircletomatchupwiththeimage.Useyourownjudgementandcreatethecircletoasizewherewecanmovethevectoraroundandadjustittothelogoimage.Thecircleweendedupfittingwa
