4、tcovermainlythemodeofshipment,timeofshipment,portofshipmentandportofdestination,shippingdocuments,partialshipment,transshipment,etc.,whichshouldbeexplicitlystipulatedinthecontract.II.ShippingInstructionsBeforeshipment,thebuyersometimessendshisshipping
5、requirementstotheseller,informinghiminwritingofthepacking,shippingmarksandmodeoftransport,etc.,knownastheShippingInstructions.III.NoticeofCargoReadinessUnderFOBterms,thesellershall,withinareasonableperiodoftime,sendtothebuyerbyfax/emaila“XXdays’(defin
6、ite)noticeofcargoreadiness”inordertoleaveampletimeforthelattertocharterashiporbookshippingspaceandarrangeinsurance.IV.ShippingAdviceAftermakingshipment,thesellershould,nomatteronwhattradetermsthetransactionisconcluded,promptlyadvisethebuyerofitscomple
7、tenessinordertohelpthelattertotakeoutinsuranceandacceptthegoods.SuchanoticeiscalledShippingAdvice.Itshouldinclude:1)Contractand/orL/Cnumber(s);2)Nameofcommodity;3)Numberofpackages;4)Totalquantityshipped;5)Nameofthevessel;6)Sailingdateofthevessel(ETD,E
