3、documentsthemanychallengesthatthreeSouthAfricanteachersfaced.Thedatasuggestthatonecommonchallengeisdoubtsontheiraccents.Theyalsoconfrontedvariousproblems,includinghavingtoteachsomethingtheywerenotfamiliarwith,managingmisbehavedstudents,andteachinglargeclasses.Thestudycall

6、atedinasimilarcontext,i.e.,HsinchuCityofTaiwan,whereforeignEnglishteachershavebeenhiredtopracticeteamteachingwithlocalEnglishteachersinallthepublicelementaryschoolssince2001(referredtoastheHsinchuProgramhereafter).Whilemanystudieshavedocumentedhowteamteachingispracticedbe
7、tweenthesetwogroupsofteachers(e.g.,[Luo,2006]and[Luo,2007]),teamteachers’voicesarerarelyheard.EvenrarerisadocumentationofforeignEnglishteachers’experiencesinthelocalcontext.Thecurrentstudy,basedontheexperiencesofthreeforeignEnglishteachersworkingintheHsinchuProgram,isanef
