2、orithmfortextsegmentationinimagesbyusingastrokefilter.Inthispaper,wedesignanewalgorithmfortextsegmentationbyusingthestrokefilter.First,wedescribethestrokefilterbrieflybasedonlocalregionanalysis.Second,thedeterminationoftextcolorpolarityandlocalregiongrowingproceduresareperformedbasedon
3、theresponseofthestrokefilter.Finally,thefeedbackprocedurebytherecognitionscorefromanopticalcharacterrecognition(OCR)moduleisusedtoimprovetheperformanceoftextsegmentation.Theproposedalgorithmiscomparedwithotheralgorithms.Theexperimentalresultsdemonstratethattheproposedalgorithmobtaineds
