2、ishagreed-upongoalsalignedwithcorporateobjectivesassetbyseniormanagement.Thetechniqueproposedismanagementbyobjective(MBO),aprovenmotivationalmethodforemploymentinabusinessorganization.TheincentiveelementoftheMBOprogramwillbetoutilizebonuspaymentstoemployeesthataccomplishgoals.Rolesan

3、dFunctionsSeniormanagementofthefirmmustbecommittedtotheoperationalmotivationplaninordertosupportsuccess.Robbins(2001)showsonereasonthatplanssuchasMBOfailis“lackoftop-managementcommitment”(p.191).IftheMBOprogramisimplementedandnotsupportedwholeheartedlytheimpacttothefirmcouldbeextreme

4、lynegativefromtheemployeeperspective.Managerswithinthefirmmustcommittothefirst-linemanagementoftheMBOprogram.Theexecutionoftheprogramrestsfirmlywithmanager/employeegoalsetting,tracking,andfeedback.Themanageristhecriticalcomponenttoestablishandsupervisetheprogram.Trainingformanagersma

5、ybenecessarytoimplementMBO.ThehumanresourcesdepartmentwillberesponsiblefortheoveralladministrationandtrackingoftheMBOprogram.Thiswillprovidetheorganizationalelementnecessaryforsuccessfulimplementationandongoingsupport.Involvementofthefinancedepartmentwillalsobenecessarytoexecutebonus

6、payments.Howeverthiswillalsobecoordinatedthroughthehumanresourcesdepartment.Policiesandprocedureswillbecreatedtopresentguidanceformanagersandemployees.OrganizationalBehavior7BenefitstotheFirmThroughtheuseofagoodMBOprogramthefirmwillseeincreasedproductivityonthepartoftheemployees.Thei
