4、Toestablisharockstatisticaldamageconstitutivemodeltakingthedefectssuchastherockmi-cro-cracksandthecharacteristicsoftheirrandomdistributionintoaccount,thevitalstepsaretoselectamethodscientificallytomeasuretherockmicro-strength,whichiscapableofreflectingitsdam
5、ageconditions;aswellasthepatternofrandomlydistributeddamageinrockandthedeter-minationofthemodelparameters.Firstly,adamageconstitutiveequationforrockunderthreedimensionalstressconditionsisestablished,intermsoftheLemaitre’shypothesisofstrainequi-valence;thendi
6、scussionsarepresentedindetailtoaddressthefrequentlyemployedrockstrengthcriterionssuchasM-Cstrengthcriterionandtherockmicro-elementstrengthprobabilitymodelssuchasWeibullprobabilitydistribution.BasedontheH-Bcriteriaandthepowerfunctiondistribution,astatisticald
