3、fstudentsundertakingsummerinternshipshit100%.IwouldliketothankourrecruitersforbelievingintheimpactthatourstudentsandgraduatescanhaveintheirorganisationsandcontinuingtohirefromtheSchoolthroughtheseuncertaintimes.MyfirstfullyearasCareerServicesDirectorattheSchoolhasbeenarewardingoneinwhichwehavebuil

4、tonpastsuccessesandtakenthecouragetotrynewinitiatives.Theintentionisalwaystoimprovefurtherourrelationshipswithorganisationsaroundtheworldandprepareandsupportourstudentsinfindingemployment.ForthefirsttimewecreatedsectorspecificCVbooks,makingiteveneasierforrecruitersinsomeofthemajorsectorstofindthetale

5、ntthattheyneed.Theteamisworkingmorecloselythaneverwithstudentclubs,includingsupportingagrowingnumberofcareertreks.ThetrekstoShanghai,HongKongandSingaporehavecontributedtotheincreaseofgraduatesfindingrolesinAsia,11%comparedto7%in2010.ThisregioncontinuestobeafocusfortheSchoolandtheCareerServicesteam

6、.Inaddition,ourMBAprogrammehasundergoneanexcitingreviewtoensurethatwecontinuetoofferparticipantsandemployerswhattheyneedataworld-classlevel.Thisyear’semploymentreportshowsthattherewasafairlyevensplitinsectorchoice,with36%ofour2011MBAgraduatesfindingemploymentinconsulting,34%infinanceand30%inotherco

7、rporatesectors.Althoughthisisthefirsttimeinseveralyearsthatthemajorityofourfull-timeMBAgraduateshavegoneintoconsulting,thetransitiondataindicatesthatasmallerpercentagehavechangedsectorsthisyear(55%ofthosewithrolesincons
