2、velopedrapidlyandformedtoday’sindustryscaleandcompetitiveadvantage.EspeciallysincethereformandopeningtookplaceinChina,thereisasustainedrapiddevelopmentinoursiliconcarbideindustry,theannualproductionof1950s’30thousandmetrictonsgrewuptothatof1077.5in2011,accountsthe74.23%oftheworld’stotalproductioni
3、nthatyear.Duringthepasttenyears,oursiliconcarbideproductionstablyrankingthefirstinthewholeworld.Wearenotonlytheproductionandconsumptioncountry,butalsotheworld'sbiggestsiliconcarbideexportingcountry.AfterjoiningtheWTO,oursiliconcarbideindustryhasaccelerateditspaceofinternationalstandards.Ononehand,
4、keepingontheintroductionandabsorbingoftheinternationaladvancedtechnologyandequipments.Ontheotherhand,increasingtheinnovationinvestmentandstrengtheningourindependentR&Dability,aimstoimprovethecompetitivenessofourenterprisesandproducts.Theexportvalueofsiliconcarbidewas$1.14billionin2000,whichgrowrap
5、idlyto$4.9405billionin2011,accounts36.59%oftheworld’sexportvaluethatyear.Butbehindtheproudachievementsandprosperoussurfacearesomehiddentroubles.Lowproductstechnologicalcontent,manyenterpriseswithvariouslevels,seriousexcesscapacity,lowexportunitpriceetc.,whichharmthelong-termdevelopmentoftheindustr
6、yandleadtothebigbutnotstrongsituationofoursiliconcarbideindustry.Combinedwiththeeconomiccrisis,maindemandmarkets,suchasUnitedStates,theEuropeanUnionandsomeothermajorindustrialcountriesareallsufferingtherecession;oursiliconcarbideexportingmarketentersintoitswinter.Manydomesticsiliconcarbideenterpri
