2、ominee,andformerMassachusettsGovernorMittRomney,theRepublicannominee.Thisdebateandthenextthree--twopresidential,onevicepresidential--aresponsoredbytheCommissiononPresidentialDebates.Tonight's90minuteswillbeaboutdomesticissuesandwillfollowaformatdesignedbythecommission.Therewillbesixroughly
3、15-minutesegmentswithtwo-minuteanswersforthefirstquestion,thenopendiscussionfortheremainderofeachsegment.ThousandsofpeopleofferedsuggestionsonsegmentsubjectsorquestionsviatheInternetandothermeans,butImadethefinalselections.Andfortherecord,theywerenotsubmittedforapprovaltothecommissionorthe
