2、.Theso-called"emptynestfamily"meansthatwhenchildrengrowupandseparatedfromtheirparentsandfamilies,theyleaveonlyfamiliesleftbyparentstolivealone.Emptynestfamiliesareastageinthefamilylifecycle.Theproblemof"emptynest"familyisnotonlyaproblemofindividualfamilies,butasocialproblemofextensiv
3、esignificance.Itisrelatedtothemodernizationprocess,people'squalityoflifeandsocialstability,andisanimportantparameterfortherealizationofawell-offsocietyinanall-roundway.Therefore,thestudyof"emptynest"familyhasveryimportanttheoreticalandpracticalsignificance.I.Thepresentsituationofempt
4、ynestfamilies,accordingtotheinformationprovidedbytheNationalCommitteeonagingwork,theemptynestfamilieshavebeenincreasinginthepast10years.Amongthehouseholdsagedover65,emptynestfamiliesaccountfor22.83%,ofwhich11.46%aresingle,andonlyonecoupleis11.38%.Thegapbetweentheregionsisverydifferen
5、t.Theproportionofemptynestfamiliesinthefamilyof65yearsoldandolderisthehighestinShandong,reaching36.05%,followedbyZhejiangProvince,reaching35.12%,exceeding1/3.Shanghai(29.37%),Tianjin(28.20%),Jiangsu(27.48%),Heilongjiang(27.21%),Liaoning(27.08%),Shanxi(27%),Hebei(25.39%)andBeijing(25%
6、)theratioismorethanorupto1/4.Inparticular,theproportionofelderlysinglepeoplelivingaloneintheelderlypopulationrosefrom3.8%in1999to11%in2004,anincreaseoftwotimes.Accordingtotherelevantdepartmentstoshowthatover60yearsoldinTianjin,Hangzhou,**threecitysamplingsurvey:10.9%oftheelderlylivin
