3、nceswithnatureinstilledalastingpassionforoutdooradventure,livinginremoteorisolatedareas,huntingandfishing.Hisvarietyofinterest,especiallytheloveoffishingextremelyaffectedallhislifeandhedrewmuchwritinginspirationfromhisfishingexperience.Takingadventuresalsoplaysavitalroleinhislifeandforthere
4、asonthatheexperiencedthetwoworldwars.HemingwayattendedWorldWarIasanambulancedriverofRedCross.HereceivedtheItalianSilverMedalofBraverybecauseofhisprominentperformanceinthebattlefield.HewassenttoEuropeforalongtime.HejoinedWorldWarⅡandSpanishCivilWarasajournalist.Alltheserichexperiencesbrought
5、muchmaterialtohiswriting.Heworkedasajournalistbeforebecominganovelist.DuringhishighschooltimeheattendedTheKansasCityStarasareporter,wherehelearnedthatthetruthwasoftenbeneaththestory.Althoughheworkedatthenewspaperforonlysixmonths,heestablishedhiswritingstylethatshortsentencesandshortfirstpar
