2、act:ThemechanicalandchemicalpropertiesofCF8Mwerestudiedthroughexperiments.AnapplicationofCF8Minvalvebodywasanalyzedbyusingfiniteelementmethod(FEM)toevaluatethestructuralsafety.Anoptimizationcontainingseveralvariablesbasedontheresponsesurfacemethod(RSM)wasconductedtofindtheoptimum

4、handleattachedtoaballinsidethevalve.Theballhasaholeorportthroughthemiddle,sothatwhentheportisinlinewithbothendsofthevalve,theflowwilloccur.Whenthevalveisclosed,theholeisperpendiculartotheendsofthevalve,andtheflowisblocked.Theballvalvesaredurableandusuallyworktoachieveperfectshut-

5、offevenafteryearsofdisuse.Inthepast,itwasdifficulttoinvestigatedetailsoftheflowinsideaballvalve,becauseitwasnottransparent.Thisdifficultyalsoblockedthecomprehensionandimprovementofballvalves.Alongwiththedevelopmentofcomputertechnique,thevisualizationsofflowpatternandfluid-structu

6、reinteractionanalysisbecomeeasierandeasier.Manyresearcheshavestudiedtheflowinsideaballvalve.KERHetal[1]utilizedthefiniteelementmethod9StructuraloptimizationforballvalvemadeofCF8Mstainlesssteeltosimulatetransientinteractionoffluidandstructureinacontrolvalve.MERATIetal[2]adoptedaco
